Main Sail teared onboard DMG MORI Global One - Assessment of the ongoing situation

Following the damage on the mainsail suffered yesterday morning onboard the IMOCA DMG MORI Global One, Kojiro SHIRAISHI has successfully lowered the mainsail at 8:45 UTC.

Meetings are currently taking place between Kojiro, his technical team and the Sail Maker to precisely assess the situation and to define a repair process taking into account the equipment available onboard.

Kojiro is determined to try everything to repair. He will benefit from mild weather conditions allowing him to take the time needed to achieve and validate the repairs.
